A Message from The Proud Principal of Holmes Elementary https://holmes.lps.org/2022/02/04/a-message-from-the-proud-principal-of-holmes-elementary/ Fri, 04 Feb 2022 16:27:17 +0000 https://holmes.lps.org/?p=4949 ... Read more »]]> I’ve been blessed!

I’ve been blessed over the past 41 years to work with some of the very best!

I need to take the time to thank those leaders, who over the years, have supported me, mentored me, laughed with me, and who I can call my friends.

I need to take the time to thank those parents and students who have provided me with positive relationships, successes, challenges, smiles and accomplishments we all can be proud of.

I need to take the time to thank those teachers and staff members, who have been supportive of me, worked hard, cared for our students and who have been positive professionals that have done some of the very best work around!

After 41 years of teaching and working as an administrator for the Lincoln Public Schools, I take this time to announce my retirement effective June 30th, 2022.

I look forward to spending more time with my wife and family, traveling, watching baseball, playing golf and having some fun with wood working.

My thoughts and feelings toward all of those who have touched my life are best expressed in the children’s book, “Huggy Muggy Do!” by Finnegan Dudley and Michele Beresford.

Here’s to a strong finish to the school year!

Thank you!

  1. Please obey all traffic and parking signage to help keep student pick-up safe. Do not park illegally close to corners.
