Welcome to my classroom!  I am Helen McLaughlin! (formerly Earnest)  This is my fifth year teaching at West Lincoln Elementary School.  The past four years I have taught Kindergarten.  This year I will begin a new adventure with some of my old students as I take on Fourth grade!

I obtained my Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln in 2008 and am currently pursuing my Masters in Historical Studies at Nebraska Wesleyan.

I have lived in Lincoln my whole life and attended Zeman, Pound, and Southeast.

I love my job and am always looking for new ways to incorporate cooperative learning and technology in my classroom.
