Welcome to my on-line world! Let me start my introducing myself.
I was born in York, Nebraska, and lived in lots of small towns in Nebraska before moving to Lincoln at age 9. I attended Hill Elementary School, Irving Junior High School, and Lincoln High School (Go Links!) After graduating, I went to the University of Nebraska and earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology. Next, I continued on at the University for my Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I used this degree to help children and families working as a therapist at the Child Guidance Center. I decided I wanted to be able to work in a more educational setting, and went back to the University for my Master’s in Elementary Education. I taught 2nd grade at Belmont for 5 years. Now I am lucky enough to get to be a school counselor at Everett!
I married my high school sweetheart in 2007. We have one son, Reece, who was born August 31, 2011. Our family spends lots of time laughing, reading, and with our extended family!
