An informational packet is sent home with your child about six weeks before the scheduled field trip dates. Each fourth grade class attends Cunningham One-Room Schoolhouse with their homeroom classmates and teacher on separate but consecutive school days. Please read the entire packet for information about packing an appropriate lunch, helping your child study and prepare for the day, and about optional projects to enhance your child’s experience.
You may want to begin preparing wardrobe in advance. Children should be dressed similar to a pioneer child who lived in Nebraska in the late 1800’s. Clothes can be found at thrift stores, from previous fourth grade students, and online. Photos are attached for your reference.
