We have a lot of fun learning to look forward to this week!

Behavior Goals…

We are finishing Unit 7 this week! Our essential question is “Where Do Animals Live?” Our letters of the week are Xx & Vv. Our high-frequency words for this week are said & want. Our vocabulary words are: habitat, wild, complain, join, stubborn. Our category words this week are animal homes. This week we will be continuing to work in Unit 4. We will be focusing on equations for partners. We will be working on addition equations, partners and equations, writing addition equations, and finishing up our teen number book. There will be homework on Monday and Wednesday this week.

Writer’s Workshop…
This week we are continuing Quarter 3 writing! We will be learning about sentence fluency and how to use transition words to make our story more fluent. We are becoming writers and it is so exciting to see!

We are going to continue working on our Word Families unit this week! Your child is loving the word searches that are coming home! These do not need to be brought back to school.

Star of the Week…
We did not have a Star of the Week last week.  We are looking forward to learning about Ryker this week.
