Need a helping hand this year? El Centro is now registering families who could use a helping hand this holiday season by teaming up with local radio stations to give free gifts to families. Registration is now open until November 26th and gifts are for children ages 1 to 13 years of age. To register, visit El Centro in person at 2032 U street. For more information, call 402-474-3950. Take your families to the Lincoln Children’s Museum for a FREE day of play and celebration. This one-day event is an incredible opportunity to celebrate childhood, life-long learning and the power of play at Lincoln Children’s Museum.

Bubba’s Closet, a goodwill effort by the elementary principals of Lincoln Public Schools, is scheduled for 8:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday Nov. 16, at Hartley Elementary School, 730 N. 33rd St. The event offers free winter clothing for elementary-aged children – to any elementary student accompanied by an adult. There are no income requirements. Sacks will be provided by Lincoln Public Schools.
Preschoolers are invited to join us for for a costumed story time! Whether you come as a pirate or a princess, we will be in disguise as we listen to stories about pumpkins, apples and the occasional bump in the night.
