This year your child will partake in the Nebraska State Assessment for English/Language Arts (NeSA-ELA) and for Math (NeSA-M). These exams are directly correlated to what your child is learning in school.
These exams do not impact your child’s grades, but they are extremely important! The results of these exams help determine if Arnold School is making Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) according to the Federal Government’s standards.
These exams take place in late March and early April for most kids. A more detailed schedule will be sent home as the date draws near.
