Welcome to the LPS Entrepreneurship Focus Program

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Welcome to the Entrepreneurship Focus Program (EFP) website!  EFP works with high school students from the Lincoln area in grades 9-12 including public, private, parochial or home schools.  The program is designed for students who are interested in starting a business, are looking for a unique, smaller school environment or are simply creative and innovative.  Students attend school at EFP from 8:00 A.M. – 12:30 P.M. and spend the remainder of their day enrolled in classes at their home high school.Mindy-Roberts_1_sized

While at EFP, students are able to pursue opportunities in a setting with an entrepreneurial setting.  Curriculum is designed to address the current business issues and trends of our community while incorporating entrepreneurship skills into all courses.  Teachers specifically focus on leadership, communication, initiative, organization and planning, teamwork, creativity, critical thinking, networking and technical skills. The program also allows students to meet their graduation requirements in Business, English, Social Studies, and Technology.   Several courses at EFP provide students the opportunity to earn dual credit from Southeast Community College prior to high school graduation.

Students attending EFP will experience an exceptional year that will increase their self-awareness and stretch their minds to the possibilities within themselves and in the real world.  We are proud to offer this outstanding program for students who are innovative, adventurous and looking for a creative approach to learning.  For more information, feel free to contact me with questions or to set up a personal tour of our program.   If you are interested in joining EFP, click on the Apply tab to complete your online application today!
