Bullying Survey for 6th Graders

I love working with 6th graders, and enjoy helping them become better writers, thinkers, and communicators.  I believe this happens as students are involved in writing everyday for real audiences and real purposes. One way we accomplish this is by frequently incorporating technology as both a collaborative and publishing tool.

The 2011-12 school year is my 15th year of teaching, and my 9th year of teaching 6th Grade at Pound.  I graduated with my master’s degree in Teaching, Learning, and Teacher Education from UNL in August of 2010.   My emphasis was in Technology and Literacy, with a minor in English.

I’m originally from south central Kansas, but have lived in Nebraska now for over 20 years.  In my free time I enjoy exercising, reading, cooking/baking, gardening, and spending time with my husband, Chad.
