The students of Elliott were in for a real treat when the performers from PANgea came to play.
PANgea (Grades 9-12) and PANgea Prep(Grades 6-8) are steel drum bands consisting of students from Lincoln Public Schools in Nebraska. John Scofield is the founder and director, and Megan Manning-Kechely is the assistant director.
The rhythmic sound was a great way to get students thinking about island culture.
