3rd Graders from Elliott were ecstatic to hear the tradition of making their own bookshelves in 3rd grade would continue. With reading being such a tremendous part of a students overall learning, third grade teachers want students to have something of their own to house their favorite books. These bookshelves are made by the third grade students in hope of continuing to enhance and instill in each student the desire to love to read. With all the smiling faces and community involvement, it is safe to say the tradition in third grade of enticing students to want to read is alive and strong!
