Recommended Calculators

 Ti-84  Ti-83 Plus Ti-30XII

A scientific calculator like the TI-30XIIS is recommended for Algebra and Geometry courses.  For Advanced Algebra and above a graphing calculator is recommended.  The best choices for a graphing calculator are the Ti-84 (any edition) or the Ti-83 Plus.  Calculators can also be checked out from the classroom teacher (with a signed calculator letter). CalcLet8.2014  Ti-84 and Ti-83 Plus calculators can be purchased new locally or online.  They can also be purchased used (at your own risk) on Ebay or Craigslist at greatly reduced prices (Ti-84’s for $50-$80 and Ti-83 Plus’s for $30-$60).

Math Help

Your Classroom Teacher is the best place to start when you are in need of assistance in a math class.  They know exactly what you will be responsible for and appreciate the effort you make to understand the material more fully.  Making an appointment with your teacher is the first step you should take when struggling in a mathematics course.  Teacher availability is listed on the Teachers page of this site.

Free Tutoring on Tuesdays.  National Honor Society students are available for tutoring help every Tuesday during PLCs from 2:15pm to 3:15pm in the cafeteria.
