Family Project

As many of you know, we do Family Projects throughout the school year.  The most recent project sent home for March says there should be a piece of paper attached to complete the project.  There was a slight miscommunication before Spring Break and the extra paper did not make it into the kiddos backpacks like I had planned.  Feel free to use whatever paper you have lying around your home.  If you need a piece of paper, please let me know and I would be happy to send one for you to complete this project with your child.

These Family Projects are very meaningful to your children and they enjoy sharing many details about each one they complete.  They get to share a lot about what is important to them and communicate that to their friends.  I appreciate you all taking the time to do these projects with your children!

Hope everyone is well rested after Spring Break! 🙂

Due to a transportation scheduling issue, we will be having our bus evacuation drill on WEDNESDAY MARCH 8th, instead of Tuesday.

Just a reminder, bus drills are for ALL children, even if they do not ride the bus for daily transportation.

Thank you for your flexibility!

Friendship Cards

Tomorrow we are having our Friendship Card exchange!  The children are making bags during school to collect the cards they receive.  Please remember these guidelines when helping your child make their cards:

  • Help your child write his or her name on each card.
  • Do not write other children’s names on the cards.  This will help your child pass out their cards more easily.
  • Per LPS preschool policy, please do not send food, candy, or other edible items.  Thank you for your help with this.
  • Non-edible items are welcome such as, stickers, tattoos, pencils, or erasers.
  • Bring enough cards for all your child’s classmates.  We currently have 20 children.

Our next day to visit the library is January 27th!  Please send your child’s book back in their backpack so they can exchange it for a new one.  If it is already at school, AWESOME!  It is patiently awaiting for them in their cubby!
