Remembering 9/11

Mr. Tuttle

He was in the fifth grade when 9/11 occurred.  A girl came in the class and said “the twin towers were being attacked!”

He was confused because she said the twin towers were being attacked, and he didn’t know what they were.

His teacher, Mr. Huffman, was watching t.v. while it was occurring, so they got an early out because of the terrorist attack and then he watched t.v. the rest of the day.

Our question: What would you ask if you could talk to Osama Bin Laden?

“Why would you attack innocent citizens?”

Remembering 9/11-Mr.Horton

On 9/11 Mr. Horton was a 7th grader in Health Class. During class he and his classmates were watching a video about birth. Then the intercom voice came on and told them to turn on the T.V.  When the teacher got to the channel the whole class was in shock and dead silent.  They watched the T.V. for about the rest of the period and the day was just very very distracted. The first thing they saw on the T.V. was the second plane crashing into the left tower. Mr. Horton said,” During class, many of my classmates left school early to attend church.” When he want home after school he watched to towers fall over and over again.
