April has arrived and with it, the NeSA testing. Students took their first test yesterday and it went well. I was impressed with their tenacity as they took the time to read carefully, look for text evidence, and check over answers. Keep up the great work!
The next reading test will be tomorrow, April 9, from 9:35 to 11:05. The NeSA math tests will both be from 8:00 to 9:30 on April 13 and 15. Be sure to eat a good breakfast and get plenty of sleep!
Because of NeSA testing, we will not be taking the Unit 6, Week 1, test. The unit 6, week 2, test will be April 16. That means day 5, testing day, will be occurring on Thursday until the end of the school year.
We have had some beautiful warm days an
d spring showers. I’m so tempted to plant all my flowers and vegetables, but I know I must be patient. Last year the late frost hit, and I ended up replanting. For now, I’ll just enjoy my daffodils! Happy Spring!
