Ed Tech Adoption
I’ve been thinking (and reading) a lot lately about technology adoption by people who aren’t eager to be involved. One resource referred to them as “laggards”, though I’m not sure that label would endear them to the cause.
An interesting series of blog posts a week or so ago (1, 2) revolved around the idea of an adoption process – how technology should go from “fancy new tool” to something used by normal teachers.
I certainly don’t have “the answer”, but I gave it some thought and evolved the graphic they were using. If anyone has thoughts I am willing to continue evolving the graphic and can send you the original files if you’d like them.
