Lookybook TIP: Click the eyeballs to see the content larger.
I love this site. A parent blog linked to it last Friday, and it immediately became a favorite for my daughter. She wants to “read books on the laptop” every night now. I can see this becoming a neat resource for primary classroom teachers as their content evolves. It also occurs to me that Google should modify their Google Books interface to allow for embedding and paging through a text like this. That would be a serious WOW moment for the internet. It also strikes me as important that these authors (and more importantly, their publishing houses) are juping on the “free preview” bandwagon. This is no different than visiting a library or a bookstore, but it still surprises me to see them allow for use of “their intellectual property” in this loose of a digital way.
