A.P. Human Geography

Welcome to A.P.H.G. 2015/2016.

 

The A.P. Human Geography course is a year-long course that focuses on the distribution, process and effects of human populations on the planet. Units of study include population, migration, culture, language, religion, ethnicity, political geography, economic development, industry, agriculture, and urban geography.

Rubenstein, James M. “An Introduction to Human Geography, The Cultural Landscape.” 11th ed. New York, Pearson Publishing.

My course features a mixture of lecture, instructional video, “Mastering Geography” an on-line interactive tool that allows students to use Google-Earth, take summative and formative exams, flashcards, and learning outcomes for each unit of study.

The first week of school, you will be given an Google account code. We will register you to that account and there you will access all classroom materials and power points as well as other useful classroom materials.
