This week for Reduce, Reuse, Recycle we talked a lot about trash and what we put in our trash. We looked through our trash cans in the classroom with gloves. We found a lot of paper. We also discussed the things that we throw away at home. Students said they throw away food, napkins, paper towels, kitty litter, diapers, and even broken toys at home. We made some artwork out of trash this week too. You should have seen that some home. We used it to make letters or the students name. We just started talking about what happens to trash after we throw it away. This was a perfect time for our new dump trucks to be brought in. Special thanks to those families that helped make these. Take a look at the photos page for some pictures of them in use.
Students have selected the songs they want to sing for you during our end of year celebration. We are practicing these a little each day. We are excited to show you all we have learned this year. Thank you to those volunteers coming in to help put their portfolios together.
Although we have finished our last home visits for the year, please don’t hesitate to contact us with any concerns or questions that we can help you with. Thank you for all you do for our preschool learners!
