Meet 5th Grade Staff

Mrs. Anderson

I have been teaching 35 years.  My first job was at Bennet Palmyra Elementary where I taught K-6 grade Special Education.  In 1989, I moved to Lincoln Public Schools, Beattie Elementary.  That is where I stayed.  This is my 29th year at Beattie!  It has been a great pleasure to be a part of this wonderful community.

My family is originally from the Lincoln area.  I graduated from Norris High School in 1978.  From Norris, I moved to Wesleyan University where I obtained my Bachelor in Science Degree in Elementary Education with an Endorsement in Special Education, a minor in English.  I continued with some graduate work from UNL.

My family lives in Roca. I am married to Ralph.  He is currently employed at Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad.  We have 2 sons.  Bryson is a Junior at UNL, Kellan is in 11th grade at Norris.  Our family has a pet dog named Shelby.  Some of my hobbies include scrapbooking, reading, baking, traveling, and being with my family.
