Dear Parents/Guardians,
We are looking forward to working with you throughout your child’s 5th grade school year. Students, parents, and teachers working together toward a common goal can be very powerful. Together we can make a difference.
We do try to keep you informed about what units we are studying at school as well as special events that are coming up. We often do this through your child’s Friday folder. But, if you feel you need more information or have a question, please feel free to call or e-mail us. It is important that your child return his or her Friday folder each week signed. This is a way for us to receive information from you as well.
Daily planners are a way to help your child develop good study skills and to encourage daily communication between home and school. Please feel free to write us a brief note or just initial it each day so we know your child is using the daily planner. This is a place for your child to record daily assignments as well as long term projects.
