Students will learn to identify notes, rests, and know each of their values. We will use our knowledge of rhythm to write rhythms. I have a method called…Nelson’s Circle System for Dictation….and they will learn how to use it to write dictated rhythms.
To use our knowledge of reading rhythms, we will read rhythms and play drums in ensembles.
