Español 2

  1. Warm-up – practicing with preterite and imperfect spelling of the same infinitives (using note sheet). Discussed.
  2. Practice with preterite or imperfect tenses with fill in the blank worksheet on Classroom. Students wrote answers on paper. Both the conjugations and labeled each preterite or imperfect and why (looking at notes on vocab//note sheet). Completed several as a class. Worked alone on 1/2 – Discussed with partner and then checked answers as a class for the first 1/2. Completed with partner and discussed as a class.
  3. Short video clip – listening in Spanish, preterite and imperfect. Worksheet on Classroom that goes with clip. Students are to complete the first paragraph by beginning of class tomorrow. We will continue and finish in class.

Español 3

  1. warm-up using sentences stem starters and completing with subjunctive tense. Everyone shared!
  2. Practice vocab with partner.
  3. Text – readings – Contexto 2 p. 220 and completed Act 10 p. 221 and Contexto 3 pp. 225-6 and completed Act 17 and discussed other comprehension quesitons.
  4. Practice vocab careers and postive and negative qualities using current vocabulary. (practice for Test on Friday) Will discuss tomorrow.
