Español 2

  1. Warm-up answering questions using new vocabulary. Recall questions with images from intro DVD to lesson.
  2. Filled out rest of vocab sheet with image slides, pronounced words and discussed meanings.
  3. Notes on regular – ar, -er, -ir imperfect conjugations. Shared some verbal examples.
  4. Watched Telehistoria 1, Act 3 – comprehension questions about part 1. Telehistoria 2 – watched twice, once to see if heard some vocab, etc. Second time with subtitles and pause and discuss.
  5. Quiz Thursday March 29.

Español 3

  1. Warm-up using a few new vocab. Pronounced and discussed meanings of and the verb conjugations and what questions were asking before students completed and shared for speaking points.
  2. Vocab discuss with image slides, pronunciation and discussion and examples, figuring things out. Practice column 1 with partner.
  3. Ser or estar and vocab activity Act 1 p. 214 Textbook on slide.
  4. Homework – on classroom and students told to take phones out and take photo of slide. Complete sentences in Spanish answering the questionaire using current vocabulary. A total of  7 sentences to hand in tomorrow.
  5. Group think – write questions for Sra. Shepard about her trip (in Spanish).
  6. Quiz Column 1 Friday March 23. Quiz Column 2 and subjunctive Thursday March 29.
