Thursday/Friday May 11-12 – Time to continue writing skit and planning who does what/brings what. Students can go ahead and bring items to school to keep here and practice with on Friday (so don’t forget) When skit is finished students can take a photo of it and send to each other so they can practice and memorize over the weekend. Skits will be presented on Monday.

Wednesday – May 10 – Clip on restaurant situations. Speaking activity using food and restaurant vocabulary and hands on items. Discussed skit expectations, everyone in group is responsible for writing, using vocabulary, memorizing their part, bringing “props”, etc. Students had time to plan and to write.

Tuesday – May 9 – Warm-up up working with phrases that one would use in a restaurant. and notes on double object pronouns and practice. page 288. Video clip that goes with text – telehistoria completa, can read the 3 sections in the textbook. To hear and see phrases and object pronouns being used and to take note of what happens in a restaurant.

Monday – May 8 – warm-up – working with vocab (silverware) Continued notes on affirmative and negative words and practice activities from textbook — 283-285. Act 6,7,8.

Thursday/Friday – May 11-12 – students will continue writing on their summative in class writing. Once it is completed, they may take a photo of it to type from on their Chromebooks and print out a hard copy with subjunctive phrases underlined and vocabulary from Unit 4 bolded. Typed and printed papers due at beginning of class on Monday. (can turn them in early) Bonus – Read letter to the person that you wrote about, tell them what it says. Have them write Maestra a note or email saying you did so.

Wednesday – May 10 – warm-up final questions from U4.1. Discussed expectations and rubrics for “personal hero” letter/paper. Time to write on this summative project – all work collected and writing must be completed in this classroom by Friday. Paper must be typed (from photo of handwritten paper) and turned in Monday beginning of class. (can turn in early)

Tuesday – May 9 – warm-up questions using emotion phrases and subjunctive or indicative – discussion. Contexto 3 – reading pp 251-252 and Act 17. Video clip – inspiration for “hero” projects.

Monday – May 8 – review future tense before warm-up practice questions for written final (3.1 and 3.2) Speaking activity Act 15 p. 250. Listening comprehension – Contexto 3 pp. 251-252.

¡Cinco de Mayo! – Short quiz. Game to review facts about cinco de mayo, culture crafts.
