Text reading and discuss pp. 166-167. Class set reading vejigantes and illustration activity to gage comprehension and understanding of what was read. p. 175 Act 7  and Act 8. Review how long ago someone did something and irregular preterit with whiteboards and worksheet. Test next Friday, the 17th. Any missing work is due on Thursday the 16th.

Quiz – vocab column 1 on Friday Feb 3rd. Daily warm-ups – points given. Text activities – pages 154 – 156, speaking, reading and writing – written Act 4 and Act 5 collected for points. Por and para notes, vocab worksheet. p. 162 Act 13 -14. Act 3 p. 175. Reviewed future tense and vocab – quiz on Monday (vocab column 2, future tense and a bit of por/para). Contexto 2 p. 160 Act 10-11. Practice for quiz. Students were to think of a “animal creation” for summative project starting Monday. (If absent will have to come in after school to work on as is all to be completed in class.)
