Español 2

1. Warm-up – Writing sentences using travel vocabulary.
2. Practice vocab with partner. Quiz on Wednesday. Test Oct 6 & 7 (pep rally on the 7th- shorter classes…will do part of the Test on Thursday – probably the listening.)
3. Notes – Direct Object Pronouns p. 46. Small bit of practice as a class.
4. Time to finish up las maletas activity. Make sure have 10 items in large suitcase and 5 in carry-on. Color them and label in Spanish. On the back write 5 sentences about what you have in your checked suitcase and why you are taking the item. Also, write 5 sentences about your items you have in your carryon and why you are taking them. Due tomorrow.

1. Warm-up – describing a camping scene using current vocabulary.
2. Practice – vocab pronunciation and added animals.
3. Notes on irregular preterite verbs and sandal verbs. Also reviewed how to say how long ago it was that you did something. For example: it’s been 2 years since I camped. Hace 2 años que acampé or Acampé hace 2 años.
4. Period 3 started Murillo reading, other classes will tomorrow (finished vocab).
5. Quiz – column 1 vocabulary on Friday Sept 30. Next quiz – emphasis on column 2 but including all vocabulary and preterite forms of verbs. Oct 7.
