Spanish 2

  1. Warm-up, warm-ups collected for credit.
  2. Students wrote sentences – where they went and what they did last week. total of 14 place sentences, 14 activity sentences, all using the preterit. Used sentences for speaking activity.
  3. Conversation tables activity with question words, vocab and preterit.

Spanish 3

  1. warm-up with imperfect tense. Warm-ups collected for credit.
  2. Family vocab practice with family tree.
  3. Game to practice imperfect tense.

Spanish 2

  1. Warm-up preterit verbs – conjugating -ar verbs and using in a sentence.
  2. Speaking activity with preterit -ar verbs.
  3. Discussed what -ar verbs meant – list from 1st year on the board.
  4. Notes – ir/ser, dar and ver (p. 70).
  5. El calendario activity. Students made a 7 day grid for the 7 days in a week in spanish and 2 different activities that they did (or might have done) 14 different activities. Have this completed for tomorrow. Will write sentneces tomorrow and add places that you went as well.

Spanish 3

  1. warm-up – questions from reading from yesterday and the culture of Mexico at the beginning of the Unit.
  2. Vocabulary pracice.
  3. Notes on the imperfectd tense and practice conjugating.
