Spanish 2

  1. warm-up using ser and tener and adjectives to describe people. Vocab section checked for completion for credit.(students are to be studying nightly) Students who didn’t email lab results to Maestra, received the instructions to try again by Friday. Make sure that you type in your full name!
  2. Vocab pronunciation and practice as a class and with a partner. Quiz on Friday over vocab section, ser and tener, numbers from 1-9 and agreement with verbs and adjectives.
  3. Notes on verbs to make sure they are correct. Note sheet with adjectives from 1st year, articles and ser were passed out for students to keep in their Spanish folder and use to study.
  4. Lots of practice activities in class – speaking and writing. pp4-5, Act 2,3 and 4. ¿Cómo son? Pages 6-7 – reading and pronunciation/discussing vocabulary.
  5. Listening activity with worksheet – collected.
  6. Homework – models completed in class and students started on a 1/2 sheet of paper. Students are to write in complete sentences. Page 8, Act 5, #2,3,4 and Act 6, #2,3,4. Have complete before walk in door.

Spanish 3

  1. warm-up – review questions. Speaking opportunity. Vocab sheet first side checked to see if had english filled out (students are to be studying nightly)
  2. Vocab pronunciation and practice as a class and with a partner.
  3. Review notes on verbs on vocab sheet.
  4. Computer practice with my website and @hometutor. Students answered questions and handed in and sent email results to Maestra.
  5. First quiz has been pushed back to Friday, August 28th.
