Spanish 2

1. Warm-up with new vocabulary and homework points given. Pronounced vocab and discussed homework and other vocab practice.

2. Listening and comprehension practice with Telehistoria p. 63 and discussion of Act 3 p. 64.

3. Nota gramatical – question words and practice Act. 4 p. 64.

4. Reading as an introduction to the preterite tense. Notes taken on definition of preterite and endings of  regular -ar verbs. Yellow el Preterito chart handed out and students added 5 regular – ar verbs to the chart.

Spanish 3

1. Students practiced their vacation stories with a partner.

2. La Fogata activity. Students sang a song in Spanish, listened to a story and jokes and riddles in Spanish.

3. Students shared their vacation story.

4. La cantimplora activity in small groups. Will discuss this tomorrow (not homework).

Repaso is due tomorrow, we will complete the listening section in class. Any missing work is due tomorrow. Test on Friday.
