Spanish 1
1. warm-up and discussed homework from Monday. Pronunciation of vocab as a class and in pairs.
2. Numbers – reviewed pronunciation of numbers 11-100 and completed a listening activity with numbers.
3. Notes on telling time. Small handout to help…don’t lose this!! Homework – first 6 on the worksheet, make sure that you write complete sentences!
4. Will discuss the U1L2 tests tomorrow and students have the option of coming in after school on Thursday Oct 10 to do corrections and explanations for their errors for potential points back. All missing work must be in as well. (no quiz or test this week)
Spanish 2
1. warm-up and check homework.
2. Pronunciation of vocab. Students read pp 60-61 with partner for pronunciation practice. Completed Act 1 and Act 2 p. 63. Watched DVD clip p. 64.
3. Reading intro activity for the preterite tense and then notes and practice with – ar verbs.
4. Homework – -ar pret verb practice – finish all for tomorrow. Pay attention to accents! Students have the option of coming in after school on Thursday Oct 10 to do corrections and explanations for their errors on Test U1L1 for potential points back. All missing work must be in as well. (no quiz or test this week)
