Spanish 1
We’ve done some get to know each other activities and students started speaking Spanish on Day 1! They learned some greetings and goodbyes and how to say their name which they used when getting to know classmates. We’ve also discussed classroom expectations, where to find things in the classroom, school rules and academic integrity. This information can be found on this site from the above links. We checked out text books – Avancemos 1. Students are to bring it, a notebook and organized handouts, homework and something to write with to class daily. We talked about ways to learn vocabulary a bit about grammar and culture and watched an inspirational video clip. It’s going to be a great semester!

We’ve done some get to know each other activities and students started recall from Spanish 1 immediately and worked with small groups on working on sentences so we could start some review.
