Spanish 1

  1. warm-up and homework checked and discussed (Act 2). Collected.
  2. Vocab sheet handed out and students completed family vocab , ages and grammar  – de and tener with age.
  3. Family tree worksheet.
  4. Escena 1 and Act 3. Pages 166-167.
  5. Review lower numbers and speaking activity practicing family members and ages.
  6. Worksheet with lower numbers.
  7. Notes about upper numbers and practice listening/recognition activities.
  8. Homework – Vocabulary B.

Spanish 2

  1. warm-up – Test on Friday.
  2. 10 minutes to finish up/practice presentations.
  3. Presentations – Summative Grade.
  4. Review game – footbal.
  5. Computer review for Test. – @home tutor that goes with text book.
  6. Handout with info about Test given.

January 22, 2013 Tuesday

Spanish 1

  1. warm-up
  2. Culture – 3 video/audio clips about puerto rico.
  3. New vocabulary for 3.2 – Family
  4. Page 164- listen and read, practice pronunciation with vocab cards.
  5. Page 165 Act. 1 – write out sentences to hand in. Speaking activity with Act. 1.
  6. Act 2 – finish for homework if not completed in class.

 

Spanish 2

  1. warm-up – 3.1 Test is Friday.
  2. Red Carpet reading.
  3. Speaking activity – describing photos.
  4. Work time for presentations tomorrow. Students each need to have written their own script and finish at home if not completed in class. Also, props need to be brought tomorrow.
