Spanish 2

1.     Warm-up reviewing questions, phrases and vocabulary students need to know for the Test.

2.     Credit given for homework completion. Discussed format of the Test.

3.     Reading practice with partner p. 156. Practice for test with partner Text p. 164 Act. 1, p. 165 Act. 4.

4.     Homework – online activity – students must register exactly as instructions say and send results to me.

5.     Test next class time.

Español 2 – Práctica para el Examen 3.1

I. Conjuguemos: http://conjuguemos.com/index.php

A. Sign in. We created accounts first semester. Your user name is probably your first and last name.

Your password is “knights.” 

Follow these directions carefully if you did not create an account previously.

Click the  “Not a member? Join us!”  link (below the sign-in buttons on the right hand side).

Fill in the Student Registration form with the following information.

School ID:                                     9773

User name:Your first and last name. (You might have to add a middle name or initial if you have an often used name. Be sure you stay with a name that I can recognize, because you will send me your results for credit.)

Password:                    knights

Confirm password:     knights

First name:                                    Your first name

Last name:                                    Your last name

School location:                            Nebraska

Click on submit, then choose your school (Lincoln Southeast High School) and teacher (B. Mullen). Hit “Submit” and you will now have an account. You can tell that your registration has been successful when you see a frog on the right with an “Hola, your name” sign.

*** IMPORTANT: If you already have an account with another teacher (Sanchez-Nelsen, Walsh, Wandzilak), you must change your account settings so that your practice sessions will be sent to me. Sign in with your user name and password. Then click on “Settings” (above the frog saying “Hola” to you).  Choose “Settings” again when you get the new screen, and be sure that “B, Mullen” is selected in the  “Choose a Teacher” box

B.  Start with 3.1 vocabulary practice. Scroll down on the left side under “Conjuguemos Library,” and choose “Spanish vocab (book).” Go to “Avancemos 2: Unit 3-1” (#74). Do the main Vocabulary Activity for at least 2 minutes (timed) and send me the results by pressing the “Record/send results” button.

You have other options here for vocabulary practice. Choose any activity (except Hangman) to practice. (If you just love Hangman, play at home. J)

C. You can continue with the “Spanish verbs” button from the “Conjuguemos Library” on the left.

Review present tense (#2, #3, #5) and/or Preterit Tense (#8)

D. Or you can go to “Classzone.com” and work on any of the “Online Review” or “@HomeTutor” activities for Unidad 3, Lección 1.

 

 

Spanish 1

1.     Warm-up – colors. Played Bingo to learn vocabulary. Listening practice with clothing items.

2.     P. 196 – Wrote Act. 1 – handed in for credit. Students also answered the following question in writing ¿Qué ropa llevas tú? In Spanish on the same paper.

3.     Homework – worksheet -Vocabulario A p 146. Due next class period.
