Spanish 2

  1. Warm-up – review vocab from last year.
  2. Page 58-59 – read and answer questions in Spanish.
  3. Working with new vocab – students wrote down the blue words in Spanish and then the meaning in English. Listened to the Native speaker and discussed the meanings. Talked about additional vocab R-2 and R 3 in the back of the book. Some was review and some was additional that will help students write and speak with more options of vocab to express themselves better.
  4. Homework – p. 62 – Act. 1
  5. Reminded students that this is the end of the quarter and if they are missing quizzes or tests, they need to come in after school this week in order to remove the 0 grade.

 

Spanish 2

  1. warm-up talking about classes.
  2. New seats and speaking with partner with review questions.
  3. Numbers from 11-100. How to tell the differnece between someone as what time something is at and what time it is. Students indicated this on their vocab sheets.
  4. Page 86-86 – students wrote down the blue vocab from A-D and then the English translation of the words. Started discussing the sections and led into Telling time.
  5. Telling itme – talked about y, menos, cuarto and media and how to say the numbers. Put up model and students filled in the first times for period 1 on their horario from yesterday. Homework – Finish filling in the times on their horario. Reminded students that this is the end of the quarter and if they are missing quizzes or tests, they need to come in after school this week in order to remove the 0 grade.
