Spanish 1
1. Warm-up reviewing what you do at certain times of the day. Speaking practice with partner.
2. ¿A dónde va el viajero? – vocab review and question words.
3. 8.2 vocab, p. 259, p. 240 Así se dice practice, notes on ser/estar and practice – nota grammatical. Act. 16 – listening practice, Act. 17 – reading practice. Act. 18 – speaking practice. Review of tener idioms.
4. Script writing – in the restaurant – using new vocab.
5. Work book pages 65-66 – time given in class. Finish by beginning of class next time if didn’t get completed.
Quiz 8.2 will be on Friday. A vocab quiz will be sometime this week, covering the few new vocab and previous vocab.
Spanish 2
1. Review of superlatives. ¿Qué tal? Magazine and questions – in class reading and writing activity.
2. Discussed format of 8.1 Quiz and did a practice activity, read about el coqui p. 228.
3. Los animals worksheet to review animals for el zoológico loco drawing and writing activity. This is due today or at the beginning of next class period, before the quiz.
Next time – Quiz 8.1. Writing activity about the “zoo”, so make sure you have yours completed! Starting 8.2.
