Review using tener ganas de phrases. Matching phrases with tener. Discussion of how to politely decline an invitation. P. 218 Act. 25 and hands on conversation cards and questions practicing the phrases from this paso.
Spanish 2
Game to review vocabulary. Reviewed verb ser in the imperfect and writing sentences. Also habia. Practiced the writing section of the quiz tomorrow and talked about the format. Make sure that you know all the vocab and use a variety on all assessments.

Monday – reviewed for Quiz 7.2. Did listening practice and vocab review.
Tuesday – Quiz 7.2. Talked about the end of the quarter approaching and students should check Pinnacle and get any missing summative work made up ASAP, (by Wednesday next week in order to get it graded)Also missing formative work needs to be completed. Chapter Test the middle of next week.
Wednesday – Practice with questions that Spanish 1 students should know. Quiz after break. Vocabulary p. 229. Notes about tener idioms. Speaking practice with asi se dice phrases on p. 217. Listening practice and writing practice. P. 59 in workbook. Grade given for completion during class. If not completed then students need to finish and show me after class. Culture clip – dating in Hispanic culture.
Spanish 2
Monday – Vocab tercer paso219. pages 200-203 and overhead questions in class writing. Collected for credit.
Tuesday – Celia Cruz reading and worksheet. Collected for grade. Individual meeting with students about grades and completing presentations. Quiz 7.2 will be on Friday and Chapter Test is next week.
