1. Review describing oneself and use of verbs, particulary tener, ser, gustar and endings of -ar, -er,-ir verbs. Discussed most summative assessments.
2. p. 178, asi se dice phrases and new vocab p. 197. Pronunciation and meaning. Made Bingo grid to help learn vocab.
Spanish 2
1. Culture review from yesterdays DVD. Discussed testing for those interested in 3/4 compacted next year. Applications must be returned to Maestra by next Friday. Testing is Feb 15 and 16 after school.
2. Sequencing events. Vocab p. 167, 168. Review of preterite both in 5.3 Quiz and with workbook p. 49. Speaking using the preterit.
3. Writing a paragraph using act. 14, p. 167 and the sequencing vocab to write about a make believe trip you took to San Antonio. Verbs need to be in the preterit and use additional vocab. Ex: I bought a post card in the village. I went up (subirse) to the top of the tower. Collected
Homework- Paragraph if didn’t finish in class. Bring 5-8 pictures of a trip that you have taken in the past. phoo copied pictures are fine. You need to be able to put them on a poster and then you’ll get them back.
