Spanish 2
1. Everyone wrote out the answers to and answered Maestra for speaking points. ¿A dónde fuiste ayer? ¿Qué hiciste ayer?
Cannot use ir – (where you went) to answer ¿Qué hiciste? You must say WHAT you did. I bought, I spoke, I rested, I watched, etc. Also you must say what YOU did and not you and your friends/family. (Nosotros is the same in present and preterit tense.)
2. Tic-tac-toe with preterit verbs – four games go over answers
3. Calendario activity –
– Students drew 7 day calendar, labeled in Spanish.
– 2 places went last week for each day (en español)
-Then at the bottom of the paper or on the back, write where they went and what they did there using the preterit.
Example
el lunes
Fui a Shopko. Compré champú. (I went to ShopKo. I bought shampoo.)
Fui a mi casa. Descansé todo la noche. (I went home. I rested all eve.)
This will be a speaking Quiz tomorrow, I will choose from their calendar, students won’t see the sentences.
Homework is to finish writing out all the sentences and practice speaking them. Speaking Quiz tomorrow. 2.2 Quiz on Wednesday.
Spanish 1
1. Review questions from Chapter 1 and phrases from Adelante chapter.
2. Quiz 2.1 – discuss writing, agreement, plural. Students need to continue study of these! Students are to see me for questions or further practice.
3. Speaking with new partner in Spanish.
4. p. 56 Test – el cuarto de Deborah – pronounce vocabulary and answered questions about vocab. Additional vocab on pages 56 and 59. Listening act16 to practice new vocab and Tambien se puede decir on p. 56 as well.
5. Asi se dice p. 57 – hay, tengo, no hay – these phrases need to be memorized. Students made a list of what is in your room – 5 things – collected for points.
Homework – pg. 14 in workbook. Make sure that write complete sentences using Hay, for Act. 11, complete Act. 12 as well. Quiz Friday, Test the next Friday.
