Spanish 2

1. Added 2 regular verbs to preterite chart. Practiced writing sentences as a class and individually. Checked homework and students made corrections.

2. Added jugar, sacar, and empezar to verb chart.

3. Speaking practice with the pretertie tú and yo forms.

4. Writing – saying where someone WENT and what they DID. (model for Part B with pictures on back side of worksheet.

5. Completed first segment of Part A on front side of worksheet together

Two sided worksheet. 10-15 minutes in class to work on.

Homework – Compete worksheet.

Spanish 1

1. p. 73, primer paso – students made a “big flash card” writing the vocab in 2 columns so a friend can help with memorization, or testing themselves.

2. Review of vocab with visuals.

3. Notes on to have, to want, and to need. The 3 singular forms that we have used this far. Also notes concerning making nouns plural and definite articles (el, la changes to los, las) and indirect obj. pronouns (un, una changes to unos, unas and means some)

4. Hands on game to practice the phrases from así se dice p. 52 and vocab.

Complete the flash card if didn’t in class and memorize vocab.
