Spanish 2

1. Collected signed slips from Academic Integrity handout. Warm-up – Writing introductions, including someone’s name, age, nationality and a personality description.

2. Corrected grammar of written introductions. Oral practice with a partner and the cards passed out with different personas and students practiced with various ages and nationalities. Number speaking practice as well.

3. Quien? Worksheet speaking activity. Asking fellow classmates questions and correcting adj agreement and verb tense as appropriate.

4. Discussed format of quiz for tomorrow. Listening, Reading, Writing and Culture. Make sure that you know all the vocabulary as you will be given the county for the writing part and you will need to write the correct nationality of the person. You will also have to make up a personality characteristic to describe the person and you need to use a different adj. for each person to show that you know the vocab. Know the Culture information from nota cultural in paso 1 as well as the location opener info about Andalucía pages 1-3.

1. Collected signed slips from Academic Integrity handout. Warm-up –review of phrases that will be spoken in class p. 11, Act 9. Points given for homework completion (worksheet).

2. Practiced alphabet pronunciation “in cadence form”. Reviewed letters and phrases that students will say and hear Maestra say.

3. Colors in Spanish. Hands on activities to practice.

4. Numbers from 0-10 in Spanish.

5. Homework – worksheet to practice numbers. Write the numeral above the Spanish word for the number. Then find the number chain in the number search,
