Reviewed new vocabulary with visual cues and students wrote Act. 7 p. 270. Discussed indirect object pronouns p. 270 with overheads and practice including Act. 8 in the textbook. Collected p. 268 from yesterday, which had 2 practice activities from class as well. Watched DVD that goes with Chapter to emphasize vocab and phrases from yesterday’s reading and writing activity.

Checked wkbk 70-71 for completion credit. Watched video clip about carnaval in Ponce and the making of vejigante masks. Reading activity – los vejigantes. Students read the reading and illustrated each paragraph in book form to show their understanding of the reading.
A ver si puedo p. 246 (Chapter Review) due Wednesday April 21 and Chapter 8 Test Friday April 23rd.
