Discussed objectives for Chapter 9. Pronounced and discussed vocabulary. Reviewed conjugations of verbs while discussing Así se dice p. 269 and new vocab phrases, also discussed tambien se puede decir. Listening practice with Act. 6 and speaking point activity – reading pp. 266-67, the foto novella. Discussed questions in Act. 1 p. 268 as a class and students wrote answers for Activities 2 and 3 using the information in the reading. Students had 10 minutes in class and are to finish this up outside of class to hand in tomorrow.

Pronounced and discussed new vocab, there isn’t much so memorize it quickly. Took notes on preterit of decir and discussed así se dice p. 235 and gramatica p. 236. Listening act. 27, partner act. 28. Read nota cultural p. 234 and students read Las Máscaras p. 234 and Questions Act 26 for speaking credit and wrote answers to Act 26 in Spanish. This was written on the act from yesterday, p. 233. Both are to be handed in tomorrow if didn’t complete in class. At home, do pages 70-71 in the workbook, reviewing the vocab and decir.
