Spanish 1

1. New seats

2. Text p. 200-202. Watch DVD – Ecuador Reading Activity – 201-202 for points.

3. DVD – de antemano. comprehension questions with DVD and then book Act 4 p. 206.

4. Introduction information shared with students and they were given time to write. If didn’t complete in class students should complete at homework and practice as it needs to me memorized. Info needs to include, name, age, 2 physical/personality descriptions, hair color, eye color, what you like to do and what you don’t like to do. Eye contact and preparedness is also included in the grading rubric. Students will be given a bit of time tomorrow to practice with their partner.

Spanish 2

1. New seats. Discussed Quizzes from last week and format of 6.2 quiz for tomorrow. Make sure you know the vocab and preterite verbs!!

2. Listening practice activity

3. Project rubric discussed, example shown and mini-presentation demonstrated. Students must write at the minimum 10 really good Level 2 Spanish sentences. Presentation needs to be memorized, not read(not all sentences need to be presented. Present 5-8 pictures, using the sequencing vocabulary and preterite verbs, nosotros can only be used once!

4. 30 minutes class time was given. If not complete then students need to finish at home. Tomorrow will be a shortened period due to club and plc, so after the quiz there may be a few minutes for students to practice presenting to their partner in preparation for presenting in front of the entire class on Wednesday
