Spanish 1

1. Discussed grading rubric again for the mini-project. Examples of projects that received different grades were posted for students to examine.

2. Drafts returned with first day effort grade. Students worked for the entire period and effort grades were recorded. Students who didn’t complete the project in class are to finish it over the weekend and hand in at the beginning of class on Monday. There will be no work time and supplies will be put away. Late passes cannot be used for this assignment as plenty of class time was given for students to complete their posters.

Spanish 2

1. Several speaking activities opportunities were completed in class, both individual and 1 partner activity. If students aren’t volunteering to speak(in complete sentences/or read in Spanish) , they can always ask me a question in Spanish and speak at other times in Spanish in order to earn their 5 points a week.

2. Discussed Homework pp. 46-47 – credit given.

3. Act. 8 and 9 on page 165 completed with partner, reading, speaking, writing.

4. Songs of the Homeland and worksheet – collected. We will finish this on Monday.
