Spanish 1 Chapter 6 Mi familia (in class) mini-proyecto
** Late Passes will not be accepted on this project due to the work being done in class Requirements
1. Pictorial representation of at least 8 different family members from 3 different generations.
2. You will attach your photos, cut-out pictures, or drawings to the provided paper.
3. You will label each person depicted (using the Spanish family member vocabulary) as to their relationship to YOU. You must use the Spanish titles for 3 different generations—-1)grandparent, 2) mom/dad, aunt/uncle, 3) brother/sister/cousin.
Modelo : Esté es mi tío, se llama Pablo.
4. You will choose 4 of your family members (not you) and write a short paragraph about each them. You will need to use different verbs and adjectives and family vocab for the people that you write about. You must include the following information. (This is the minimum.)
a. What their relationship is to you.
b. Their name.
c. What they like to do.
d. Describe them with at least one personality and physical trait.
5. You MUST DO A DRAFT (in class) Before you do your final copy. You must label and write EVERYTHING out and draw in boxes for the pix. All work – draft, etc will be kept in class. Project is due Friday end of period. You must do all your own work. No use of translators, tutors, siblings in Spanish 4, etc.
6. Project must be completed in class. Neatness and creativity counts, but correct Spanish and grammar count more:)
Grading will be based on
Content – have you included everything? Comprehensibility – is it understandable?
Accuracy – is everything correct? Grammar, Vocab, etc. Organization – does the layout make sense and is it easy to read?
Is it nice to look at?
Effort – Did you apply yourself and work hard during the entire class period? Is your project
neat? Did you do more that the minimum requirements? Total – 20 points
