1. Collected homework. Students practiced speaking with overhead questions.
2. Listening Activity 6 p. 145.
3. Homework returned for completion/corrections in order to receive credit. Remember to write complete sentences and conjugate your verbs.
4. Negation – overhead from book and larger one. Using no and nunca in the same sentence is acceptable in Spanish.
5. Una encuesta – Speaking activity – collected for points.
6. Listening practice as students moved around the room in order to answer questions.
Homework – workbook pp. 37-38. Quiz 5.1 on Friday. All Chapter 4 missing work needs to be made up by tomorrow. I’ll be available after school for assessments.

1. Vocab pronunciation p. 157. Practice with own flashcards. Using the vocabulary with Act. 6 p. 133.
2. Así se dice and what tense are the verbs? p. 134
3. Preterit charts – added dormir, – er. –ir, dar, poder and ver.
4. Activity 12 p. 136. First students decided which infinitive would be correct and then conjugated them in the past.
