Seems the germs have gotten ahold of Maestra too. Sorry that I’ve not updated daily. I’ve been sick and short on energy.

Monday October 12, 2009
Due to the number of students not taking advantage of work time given in class and handing in work late, points will now be deducted for late work. I’ll follow the SE guidelines regarding excused absences.
1. Notebooks returned from checking.
2. Pronunciation of vocab with Voki
3. Add additional vocab to list froim p 83 and read nota cultural.
4. Refered to Notes on los and las, you should have these already #21 in your notebooks.
5. ¿Qué clases tienes? P. 84, study and practice with partner. Wrote out and discuss Act. 7 and Act. 8 on page 84.
Homework pp. 18-19 in workbook. (students given 5+ minutes to work on in class and to complete speaking points)

1. Warmup – review of yesterday and vocabulary.
2. Discussed homework and points given.
3. Notes on Time NB#36 ( save room for more notes here later in the chapter.) Notes from p. 86.
4. Así se dice box -p. 85 – write the question in your notes ¿Qué hora es?
Homework – p. 20 (students given 5+ minutes to do in class and complete speaking points)

Monday October 12, 2009

1. Review of past vocab from first year.
2. Vocab practice with voki
3. vocab sheet given to students to cut and practice on own.
4. Text Reading pp. 68-69. Write out answers to questions on p. 70 Activities 1-4. Also Write out answers to Act. 6 on p. 71. – This will be collected.
5. Time for speaking points with Maestra.
(Students were given 25 minutes to work on these things in class)
