Spanish 1

1. Reviewed all the questions/ answers from Chapter 1. These will continue to be used all year and you’ll see them and need to respond to them forever as part of your Spanish speaking journey!

2. Collected the cards that are part of the speaking quiz. Started quizzing individuals one-on-one.

3. Pronunciation practice and discussion of indefinate articles, un and una.

4. Write vocabulary from paso 1 Ch. 2. Do this in 2 columns, both on the same line. It’s like a big flash card. This is for a grade as well as a wonderful study tool.

5. Discussed Chapter Tests and students took notes in their notebook about their preparations for the Tes and what they did well and what errors were.

6. Discussed how to make sure you get credit for late work and how points can be “earned back” for poor notebook grade

*Speaking points are due this week. Vocab list tomorrow.

Spanish 2

1. Discussed how to receive credit for late or absent work as well as how to earn points back for a poor notebook grade. This is a skill, so if you improve you will be credited.

2. Discussed Quiz 2.1.

3. Notes (in NB) about the preterite tense and words to let you know when to use the past tense.

4. Preterite chart notes put in NB as well and class made a list of regular -ar verbs to use in the past tense.

Homework – worksheet using -ar preterite.
