  1. Warm-up using vocabulary.
  2. Act 1 and 2 p. 200 to practice vocabulary.
  3. Notes about the imperfect tense – p.203.
  4. p. 201 – read and looked for imperfect verbs. Watched telehistoria 1 and discussed parts….students will need to know this legend for the quiz.
  5. Quiz next Friday(March 31) over vocabulary, imperfect tense and a couple questions. Bonus option – due Thursday March 30 : handwrite your own flashcards of the vocabulary. English one side/Spanish the other. Cards should be no smaller than 2 1/2 x 3 inches (a regular card cut in half). They have to be on cards or constructtion paper (on bottom shelf by door in F226).

Tuesday – warm-up – discussing parts of stories and characters. p. 194-195 read and questions. p. 196-197 intro to lesson. DVD intro to vocabulary. Students given vocab sheet – to be filled in by class Wednesday.

Wednesday – Vocab sheet checked for completion. warm-up using vocabulary, those who didn’t have it filled in had a challenge. Past Participle notes p. 202 added to vocab sheet (on the side). Practice with Act 4 – collected. Listening and follow along reading pp 198-199.

Español 3

Tuesday – warmup – break information shared for speaking points. vocab list checked for completion. Pronounced vocabulary and discussed meaning – students filled in sheets if didn’t have completed before class. Discussed meaning of words.

Wednesday – warm-up. vocab pronounce with images. discussed vocab meaning and which resources to use to look up words (wordreference.com – is a good dictionary and so is larousse – don’t use translation sites, use dictionary). pp210-211 – use vocab to describe. p212-213 – read with partner and work with survey. Act 1 – ser/estar
